Crow’s Feet

What Are Crow’s Feet?

Crow’s feet is the term used to describe the fine lines and wrinkles found at the outer corners of your eyes, extending out in a fan-like pattern resembling a bird’s foot.

Sometimes called “laugh lines,” they tend to become more pronounced with repetitive facial expressions such as when you smile or squint. Because you use the muscles that surround the eyes on a regular basis, and the skin here is very fragile and delicate, even young people can develop crow’s feet.

As the skin is so thin here, it loses collagen and natural oils faster than other parts of the face. Other causes include:

  • UV Exposure
  • Squinting
  • Smoking
  • Aging

Fortunately, these wrinkles can be easily smoothed out with Botox injections for a more youthful appearance.

Treating Crow’s Feet with BOTOX

Botox injections are one of the most common types of outpatient procedures for the treatment of crow’s feet and is also an excellent way prevent future lines from forming.
