What Is Teledentistry?
Teledentistry is an innovative way to access convenient dental care when you need it most, using your computer, tablet, or phone. Similar to Telemedicine, it’s like a dental visit, but online!
Is Teledentistry Right For Me?
- Are you concerned about coming into the office – maybe you have health concerns that would cause you to take a pause about coming into the office for an exam.
- Does your work load not allow you to miss work to come into the office for an exam?
- Are you having childcare concerns and it would be best to have an exam via Teledentistry?
- Do you have a general dentist that has taken an xray or an intraoral photo and you would like clarification as to what you’ve discussed?
There are many exams that can be done without you coming into the office. As long as we have a current X-ray of the area in question, which your general dentist can provide (an intra-oral photo would be very helpful as well or a picture from your phone) – there is a good chance that we can talk with you about your concerns or your general dentist’s concerns that he or she may have.
Currently we are offering this service at no charge. Our office will make it easy for you. Our office manager, Jocelyn, will contact your general dental office to arrange to obtain any diagnostic xrays or intra-oral photographs they may have. You may email her at Jocelyn@levensonperio.com or you can call the office at 740.335.8877 and she will help you. Once we have received those items, Dr. Lori will send you an invite via an email to join our patient portal. If you do not have an xray and would still like to discuss a concern you have, don’t hesitate to email Dr Lori –> DrLori@levensonperio.com. She will be happy to contact you via phone, email, or through the patient portal.
Please email Dr. Lori Little-Levenson and include your name and cell phone number. When she receives your email, she will either call or text you.
