Our office will help you understand your insurance benefits. Some employers offer many different dental plans and these plans can change benefits, co-pays, and deductibles many times throughout the year. We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on information available to us. At times, it is almost impossible to accurately estimate a patient’s insurance co-payment. Many insurance companies will not give out fees until after the treatment is completed. Dealing with insurance companies can be difficult and time consuming. As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any change to your insurance. It is important that all information about you and your insurance is current.
Further, most dental insurance policies are limited and often times will only pay for a portion of the procedure(s) that may need to be done. Your plan may not cover all procedures that have been recommended. Unfortunately, government issued insurances do not recognize our services therefore we are not able to work with them.
Though dental insurance is complicated, it is important to understand that even in the same place of employment dental insurance policies may differ and therefore coverage may differ from one employee to another. Again, we are happy with help you in this process. https://www.ahip.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Guide_to_Dental_Insurance.pdf
