Dr. Ira Levenson, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Ira Levenson is a 1986 graduate of Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, in New York where he received his training in all aspects of general dentistry. While at Columbia, Ira’s interest in basic science led him to the research laboratory. There, his growing passion for basic science research led him to pursue a post-doctoral degree in Oral Biology and a clinical specialty in Periodontics. It was at The Ohio State University, in 1989,where he received his certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Ira maintained a growing practice and taught part time at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and provided continuing education courses for both dentists and dental hygienists.
Dr. Ira’s approach to practice is centered around a devotion not only to patient education but also a commitment to help each patient achieve better oral health. An avid student, Dr. Ira frequently obtains continuing education training to help him better serve his patients.
Dr. Ira’s interests outside of dentistry, including being “Bop Bop” to his four grandchildren, bible study, exercising, long walks with his wife and their dogs, listening to music, and sharing life with family and friends.
Dr. Ira is licensed by the Dental Boards of Ohio, New York, and New Jersey and is a member of The American Academy of Periodontology, the Ohio Academy of Periodontists, the American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
